Quest Engineering, Inc., an architectural casework manufacturer, is currently seeking an experienced individual for Edgebander Operator-Technician. This position will set up, operate, and maintain our Biesse Edgebander equipment. This position requires in-depth knowledge of automated woodworking equipment and casework manufacturing processes. This position will be located at our Richfield, WI manufacturing plant.

Department: Production

Reports to: Production Manager

Compensation:

$2,000 SIGN-ON Bonus!!

  • $1,000 is paid out at 90 days
  • $1,000 is paid out at 180 days

Hourly wage based on experience.

Responsibilities:

  • Operate, maintain, troubleshoot and repair Biesse Edge-banders
  • Prepare and setup machine systems for daily operation, and meet daily production
    goals
  • Maintain machine, ensuring that the machine is always in proper working condition
    and can be used to its maximum capacity
  • Inspect and ensure all products are defect free before passing on to next work cell
  • Understand cause and effect, and take appropriate actions, related to high quality
    bonding and edge appearance for various banding materials, thicknesses, finishes and
    grains
  • Operate and Maintain systems adjusting Offset, Temperature, Pressure, and Speed as
    changes in conditions and materials require
  • Operate and maintain EVA glue systems
  • Operate conveyor and lift table interfaces and control, and integrated robotics
  • Contribute to Continuous Improvement initiatives related to work-flow and overall
    shop efficiency
  • Help other areas and personnel as needed.
  • Candidates will operate the machine in a timely manner that meets productions
    schedules and quality requirements.

Specifications/Requirements:

  • Three plus years of hands-on experience running high end sophisticated edge
    banding machines including performing preventative maintenance and recognition of
    high-quality output cabinetry related experience in machine operation or casework
    assembly.
  • In-depth knowledge of casework and customs construction methods.
  • Must have strong attention to detail and be able to follow multi-step instructions

1st Shift CDL Delivery Driver - CLASS A & B

Quest Engineering, Inc., an architectural casework and cabinet manufacturer, is currently seeking an individual for Delivery Driver.  This position will be responsible for completing assigned deliveries, pick-up of merchandise, and assist shipping & receiving responsibilities by performing the following duties. This position will be located at our Richfield, WI manufacturing plant.

Reports to: Shipping & Receiving Manager

Compensation:

Hourly wage based on experience.

Responsibilities:

  • Operates company vehicle in a professional, safe and courteous manner.
  • Picks up merchandise and invoices from warehouse/vendors.
  • Delivers merchandise to customers in a timely manner.
  • Ensures delivery of appropriate merchandise in accordance with customer invoices.
  • Ensures delivery vehicles are clean and in good working condition.
  • Performs daily maintenance checks and reports malfunctions to management.
  • Ensures customer messages/communications are relayed to appropriate management.
  • Returns credit merchandise with appropriate paperwork and informs management of delivery.
  • Assists in maintaining a neat and clean workplace at all times.
